Comic: Ravenwood
Roles: Creator, Story, Illustrations, Coloring, Penciling, Characters, Text
DOB: May 21, 1984
About:
I guess I can be called the creator and master mind behind Ravenwood for it is my baby.
I do the story and the artwork, pencils, colors, text, character designs, everything on the creative end of it. Only things I didn’t do were my website design which was done by my boyfriend, and the php coding done with the good people at Spiderforest.com who also handle my hosting.
A little on me, I’m from central Michigan (it’s the state that looks like a mitten), and will probably remain here for quite sometime. I will be graduating with a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Dec 2006. From there I plan on working a little art store, doing freelance illustration on the side and live a nice quiet unassuming life.

Comic: War of Winds
Roles: creator, writer, artist, webdesigner, non-smiting god-of-world
DOB: 10/9/86
About:
My name is Karen called Kez. I'm a junior in college and a bio/pre-med major, though writing my story is my passion.
I greatly enjoy practicing the martial arts, and I love taking my dog for walkies (yeah, that's right: walkIES). My favorite show is a toss-up between Stargate SG-1 and Highlander, and my favorite color is green. I have, upon occaision, also been known for totally making a fool of myself in front of others, usually when comedy was not warranted, Oh well.

Comic: O31: October 31st
Roles: Artist, writer, creator, website designer,
conceptual overlord
DOB: December 30, 1983
About:
As Hellboy might have clued you in, I am a
dyed-in-the-wool comic fan and genuine geek.
I've been drawing since about the same time I got out of diapers
(maybe a little earlier if you count crayon scribbles)
and making comics since back when boys still had
cooties, and I'm still trying to improve and hone my
craft.
My hobbies are what you'd expect: comics - and
not just my own - consume my existence, occasionally
making room for video games (the Metal Gear Solid and
Silent Hill series top the list) and movies (mostly
ones based off... yes, you guessed it... comic books
or video games). I think many people underestimate the
medium of comics, and don't realize it's a gateway to
not only share a story and characters, but, as a
creator, to share their own philosophies, beliefs,
hopes and fears. You can learn a lot about a person
just by what they put down on paper, and all I want,
in the long run, is to put down something that just
might make people think and observe a little closer.

Comic: O31: October 31st
Roles: Artist, writer
DOB: June 25th, 1987
About:
I often claim that I didn't get into most comics until recently, but I have a horde of Sonic The Hedgehog comics that claim otherwise…along with a few Biker Mice From Mars, Cowboys of Moo Mesa and even a TNMT issue. I haven't followed those in a while, but my more recent endeavors to read comics include Poison Elves, Hellboy, Lobo, The Darkness, Jonah Hex's most recent series and Dark Horse's Predator comics.
I am also just a general horror/sci-fi/fantasy aficionado. Most of my spare time that isn't dedicated to drawing or reading is spent on videogames. I play too many to mention, but I prefer action, RPGs, survival horror and sandbox/GTA games.

Comic: Venus Envy
Roles: Writer and Artist
DOB: May 14, 1980
About:
I was born a poor, black child in rural Mississippi.... okay, actually I wasn't, but it makes for a more interesting story. In actuallyity, I was born in upstate New York and raised in rural Florida. When I wasn't harassing my mother or playing with snakes, I drew strange little sketches. Upon discovering Garfield for the first time around age 6, I realized 'That's what I want to do when I grow up!'
Fast forward to the present: I've been drawing Venus Envy now for nearly five years now and I'm thrilled to be doing what I've always wanted... it doesn't always pay the bills, but it's certainly fulfilling. I now live in the Seattle area with my loving girlfriend and cat, Hercules.

Comic: Deer Me
Roles: Artist, writer, and site designer/maintainer
DOB: undisclosed
About:
Having long had a passion for animation, comics, and drawing, I
finally now draw my own comics. The bossiest and best-organized
character group in my head (they managed protests and held
meetings...) made me establish "Deer Me", but others occasionally
pipe and demand attention. My preferred medium for comic work is
black ink on white Bristol and I like colored pencils for color
pictures best.
Key influences in my drawing style are Disney movies, "Elfquest"
by Wendy Pini, and "Bone" by Jeff Smith. Key writing influences
include Berkeley Breathed's "Bloom County", Tom Holt, Terry
Pratchett, "Bone" by Jeff Smith, Bill Watterson's "Calvin and
Hobbes", and my family's and friends' quirky senses of humor.

Comic: Crowfeathers
Roles: Art, story, and website design and uploading
DOB: November 8th
About:
Born and raised in South Texas, I've traveled around the southwestern US and have little desire to go elsewhere. I have a background in architecture and engineering, but have been drawing since I was four, and started dabbling in manga style comics in 2002, when I started writing a long and involved Escaflowne fanfiction.
In 2003, I did a few Inuyasha doujinshi comics and then started coming up with original stories. The first of these was a supernatural/historical/horror story called Ghost Hunter X, in which the demonic spirit of a wild west bounty hunter haunted a suicidal young woman, eventually saving her life and taking her as an assistant in his quest to hunt down and capture poltergeists haunting various historical places in the southwest. The dark and unapproachable characters evolved into another story called Ravensong, an epic story in which a young Japanese girl discovers she was once a raven youkai in the feudal era, and had been psuedo-reincarnating and wandering the earth since that time.
In 2004, I wanted to enter the Tokyopop Rising Stars contest and needed a short story to submit, so I wrote about one of her historical boyfriends, [*drumroll*] a half-demon bounty hunter. And so, Crowfeathers was born. I ended up having more story about him than her, so when I failed to win the contest, I continued the story in its current webcomic form.
